1. 8.4 mill next year.

2. Didn't scare anyone (DB's across the league say it). 

3. Always showed up out of shape. 

4. Doesn't bring anything that can't be replaced or is already replaceable.

We do get immediate return by him not bogging down the offense.   Think about it, short of blown coverage, he is never open.  Cam has to make lobbing or pin point passes to him every time.   It's like yeah he is big bodied by does Cam always have to make a high degree of difficulty throw all he time?  Say what you want about Ginn but he got separation (may end up dropping it).   Olsen gets separation.   Funchess (sometimes) get separation.  Mccafrey damn near always gets separation.   We will be a better by subtraction.   

Also Cam doesn't have to feel obligated to try and get him the ball like he does with KB.   When he was just throwing to whomever got open he was a much better QB.  We get immediate return by that in itself.

Remember when he also didn't trade future picks for him and then, as mentioned, flopped him back some value?

Can't really say the same for a guy who literally used a 33rd overall pick on a D2 QB to convert to WR... something even fantasy football madden enthusiasts wouldn't dare do...
