MNF baby!!! Where Cam shines brightest.

At this point, the Dolphins are a pretty difficult team to evaluate. Looking at their schedule, they are 4 - 4.  They literally may have only played one good team this year in the Saints . All 4 of their wins came against low level competition.. they've scored 0 points in two games (vs Ravens and Saints, good defensive teams) , so that's a good sign for us. They have the last ranked scoring offense in the NFL in average points scored per game , 29th ranked pass offense, 30th ranked rushing offense, and a middle of he pack defense in average points allowed.

If we play turnover free football, this really should be an emphatic win. But knowing our team, we usually tend to play down to the competition and find ways to let other teams either stay in the game or even win the game when they have no business winning (ex. Bears game).

Please stop saying we can't afford to look past teams. We aren't actually players or staff on the team, it doesn't really matter what WE think as fans. Its only a problem if the members of the actual team are overlooking the Dolphins (and overlooking to what exactly? The bye week? The Jets? Olsens return?).

Other than SF, I don't think we have beaten a team by two scores since the NFC championship game in 2015.  So I am thinking we won't do it Monday either.

we have beaten two teams this year by 2 scores.   Most of our wins last year were by 2 scores including Cam on MNF last year

idk I think something mentally set in with Cam against the Falcons and he is ready to go off. I think he literally beat into Rivera's chest on the sideline to let him do just that and not hold him back. We will see. But adding to it that it is Monday night and he wants to perform, I think we may put up our best offensive game in a while

    • With the contract money an OT first rounder makes you can ALWAYS get a new girlfriend.  And probably an upgrade at that.  You only got 2 parents.
    • Brother. You are wholly confusing comparing situations and applying actual standards like most other franchises do like simply getting into a playoff series and winning at least 1 or 2 series games with praising. Nobody is praising the Hawks. Nobody is praising the Magic. Nobody here likes those teams. But reality is reality. The Hawks like other franchises have traded players fired coaches etc but they can still win a couple playoff games. How is that not the bare floor for you or anyone else? What are we doing here if it isn't? We've seen eye to eye on many things over the years. But you are in the camp on the Hornets where you are emotionally attached to LaMelo where you feel the need to carry his water like he's got that juice. That's cool that you feel that way. It's your prerogative. But I differ from that viewpoint entirely. If he had that juice we would not have gotten wiped off the court in 2 play in games with 2 different coaching staffs and rosters. if people don't like hearing that well I'm sorry but how the hell is this team ever going to get better and ultimately go anywhere in the postseason if we just blindly pat them on the back for getting their asses whooped before they actually even get into the real playoffs? There seem to be some Bryce Young level standards being applied here. That's wild to me. But to each his own.
    • Proctor/Freeling were always the belles of the ball where we were picking. What those two *could* become at OT was far greater than what others could be at their respective positions and I’m glad our FO could see that.
