He needs more touches but how he dropped his easy catchable pass so Cam went straight Fun Fun and CMC gotta earn the qb's trust. With  the ball in his hands like the reverse he's money now's the time to hit the jug machine and work on his chemistry with Cam because he's special with the ball in his hands and we've seen special with speed before now it's to to harness his skillset.

What I like about Kaelin Clay is that he has that Steve Smith, Josh Norman DOG in him. We need that on this offense. He has that swagger that you need.

Fast, not afraid of contact, and with a substantial chip on his shoulder

Funny you should mention that. I love that play where he slammed into that DB. It got no where but I love the aggression

Hes right now by far the fastest and shiftiest WR we have. And after that punt return TD , I'm willing to bet the staff is going to start him opposite of Funchess and make him the #2 WR for now.

The real question is , can he catch the tough passes in tight coverage and outhustle dudes for the ball on the outside? He might be more suited to the slot , I'm not sure right now. He sure hasn't proven much on the outside.  We still are missing the deep ball form our offense, hopefully he can provide that for us vs saints and/or the Vikings. Byrd is a questionmark too in regular season games. One or both of them need to be at least a halfway decent downfield threat for us to have a dep playoff run.
