Olsen is out @ NO

We need Greg Olsen for this game, but would need him more for a playoff run.  Calling him soft and a pussy, because for soreness after a fuggin surgery is stupid.  Having him limp around distracting no one is of no use.  Rather have a 100% Dickson than a 70% Olsen.

Greg at this point is not a huge loss. Keep him healthy down the stretch.. considering how he looked in the Jets game and that he didn't practice, even if he played today he wouldn't really help much. Needs to time to get up to speed. We'll just have to keep winning with the next man up.

Also, playing Olsen last week was yet another example of poor judgement on behalf of Rivera. He hurried him back against the Jets, a non-conference and non-divisional game, rather than wait an extra week to have him against the biggest matchup left on the schedule. Another example of poor timing by this organization.

Hey, we beat the Jets last week. Anything is possible.

Just think about that statement a little bit. Just barely getting by the Jets. Wouldn't surprise me to get blown away due to Shula's play calling and the defense laying back whenever we score. We are a wildly inconsistent team due to coaching.

We tend to play down or up to teams levels. Barely getting by or not, a win is a win and a loss is a loss.

Am I the only one feeling like it will be a miracle if we win this game?

We beat the Patriots on the road.

Are we the underdogs?  Sure, yeah, I guess.  But it won't be a "miracle" to win.  We are a good team.

Well that’s fugin great.  Thought for sure all year long we’d have him for this game

Both him and Kalil.  Now looks like we’ll have neither.

Injuries have been a cold hearted bitch to us this year

I don't think this year is particularly worse than normal. Most teams lose key players by this time in the season.

Eh they made it clear there is nothing but soreness. This is the most important game left on the schedule and there is nothing actually injured still so he could sit and get injured in any next game as easily as he could play and get injured this game.

Rather have him even if he missed a game or two after this one.

i'd rather have him for the vikings

    • Former league executive and current NFL.com analyst Marc Ross recently named his top second-year breakout candidates for the upcoming campaign. Ross includes Legette, who may be helped out by his team's latest first-round selection. He writes: Legette had a slow start to his NFL career, catching 49 passes for 497 yards and four touchdowns last season. Some of the struggles can be tied to his own growing pains -- he had eight drops on 81 targets, according to Pro Football Focus -- but he had also had to navigate the quarterback shuffle between Bryce Young and Andy Dalton early in Dave Canales' first season leading the Panthers. Canales recently said he believes Carolina has a DK Metcalf-like talent in Legette, who had foot surgery this offseason but was cleared to resume work in early April, and that having a full offseason alongside Young, who took a significant step forward in 2024, could lead to a breakout result in 2025. I anticipate it will also help that Carolina invested another first-round pick in a wide receiver, Arizona's Tetairoa McMillan, to complement Legette in the pass game. McMillan's presence, however, could take some pressure off Legette—who may be able to roam around in a more natural playmaking role. With the 6-foot-4 All-American likely to take on the bulk of the volume from Young, Legette should have some cleaner shots to break out downfield and in the box score.     https://pantherswire.usatoday.com/story/sports/nfl/panthers/2025/05/06/panthers-wr-xaiver-legette-top-breakout-candidates-2025/83475176007/?taid=681a4610ede05d000149b376&utm_campaign=trueanthem&utm_medium=trueanthem&utm_source=twitter
    • my understanding is a big time throw, could be a 5-10 yard slant to Adam Thielen given AT isn't going to separate.
