Giving up before the half with two time outs.... Do u agree?

I think it makes his decision to defer the kickoff a joke. By doing so the Saints scored 1st, he didn't even try to get into fg range before the half, and wasted the opening drive of the 3rd quarter.

If you are gonna do those three things, don't defer. just take the damn ball 1str, try to score and make THEM play from behind.

Do you agree with Rivera? Best to give up and get the ball after the half?

Absolutely NOT. Stupid stupid decision to not go for the FG there. Reminds me of Foxy for the Broncos in 2012 losing to the Ravens in the playoffs in OT because of that. Had Peyton Manning with time and TOs and they kneeled it out I believe and lost in OT. Could've been the ones to beat the Niners in the SB that year if not for stupid p*ssy coaching decisions like that. Rivera is not cut out to be a HC and hasn't been since he gave up the Riverboat after the '13 season.

    • The intro to the article talked about how they picked the teams and it wasn't just on overall career, it was a factor, but their peak ability also factored in. He 100% should be on a roster like this, because it was building the best roster from players since 2000, not the best careers during that time. And no matter how you slice it, CMC's peak ability if he could have had a long healthy career would have made him one of the best RBs of all time.  He had back to back seasons with over 1k rushing and 100 catches, with the 2nd of them also having over 1k receiving, that's wild. He's also still only 29 and I think is going to end up playing at least another 5-6 years as he's going to slowly shift into being a slot WR at some point I believe and basically become what Deebo was for the 49ers for a while.
