Different Experience

Just got back home from my 1st Panthers game - awesome!  wow, what a different experience than watching on TV.  We sat over the tunnel that the Vikes used.  Was a little disappointed when I realized that - just never knew they entered and exited from across - but never the less it was great.  Did have a whole row of drunk vike fans 2 rows behind us and 1 panther fan that kept screaming at the nearest cheerleader (even though the move around).  My ears are nearly blown and I'm hoarse from yelling.  Many awesome Panther fans around us that act like they've known you forever.  Had a great view of the tackle on the vike fan behind the bench.  Great video of Fun Fun and Cam celebrating the TD.

To whom ever sold the tickets we bought - it was money well spent.  Whole day with my son doing what we do every Sunday - just this time in person.  I'm hooked on attending games - just hate the 5 hour drive home afterwards.  Getting from BOA to Salisbury sucks!

Was an epic game. I flew in from Boston this morning and flew back tonight. Getting to and from the stadium and our seats was easy as hell and all around a great game experience. I was in section 110 on the Vikings side and I will say there were a lot of Vikings fans near me there -- doing their weird little "skol" chant while doing some dumb arm movement, it was frankly quite embarrassing to see grown people doing. And there were times during the game where the stadium wasn't all that loud when it should've been, but all around a great game.

Wait, what's this about the tackle of a Vikings fan?

I’m glad you had a great experience man. I wasn’t able to make it today due to a work Christmas Party (I still streamed that ish until we stopped the Vikings on 4th to seal the game). My friends and family look at me crazy when I tell them I’d rather go to the game than sit watching it on tv, but you see why. The atmosphere is generally electric. I don’t care if it’s bitterly cold or hellishly hot (have experienced both). My ass will be in a seat if there’s nothing work related I have to attend (I’m lucky to generally not work on sundays).

Anyway glad you enjoyed it. Come back again sometime soon!

Took 5 hours total to get from BOA to Goldsboro  NC.  Took 90 minutes just to get to Salisbury - bumper to bumper till there.

Vike fan - yes,  we were in section 137 and a fan from one of the endzone sections jumped down and ran for the Panther sideline - he totally bowled over a female event staff worker and got tackled by the Police just short of where the kickers practice net was.

    • Why not? Dude was tough as nails. Came off the field after a vicious hit and showed the coach how his ring finger was knocked out of socket halfway up. You could see the shock on Fox's face. Brad just  pulled  on the finger, grimaced, got it back in alignment and went back in for the next play and blew up an opposing linebacker or two. Dude is legendary.
    • Motown let on like he'd like to play at least another 5 years in his presser. I fell he was truthful and us fans over did his knee. The guy started like 108 starts in a row and only missed like 2 games over each of the past years.  I think as long as the team agrees with his value that Motown has, he will sign another contract extension to push the void years into the 2030s.  OLmen can play at high levels up til 40. Trent williams is doing it, Richie Incognito leftd and came back to play until he hit 38. Lane Johnson is still playing at a top level while 38. You member Greg Van Roten, he's somehow still playing at 36 and he started here after being a substitute teacher years before. If you are able to get over the 32 year bump, its possible to reach 38 with luck. Colleges do a poor job of preparing new OLmen, many times that vet is better.   Rams were begging Andrew Whitworth to come back while he was 39, if you got the genes, luck and still willing to put in the hard work....it is possible to play until 38 as a OLmen*starting level*
    • Shaq was a fantastic LB, he just happened to have been standing in the shadow of a Panthers great and a Hall of Famer. He was team-lead starter quality for all 32 teams of the NFL. Don't throw shade on him, he was never just a guy.
