Simply put...and as minor as it may seem to some, I heard many jokes and things said in that group to the female employees meant as jokes of course, but still. She would laugh right along. Now of course it made for a fun environment but to the wrong person, it can blow up in your face.

She was put in charge of the Top Cats in 1999 and has worked with various aspects of the team operation ever since.

She's the one who came up with the Keep Pounding drum.

Looks like she has worked to earn the promotion, yet one sees speculation that it's a PR move... That's too bad... I'll agree that Jerry pulling back and relinquishing control so quickly indicates that the final report will be very embarrassing

In a lot of offices, you have that one person who's done just about everything there is to do.  Whenever people don't know how to handle something, they run to this person. That's her.

As it stands right now, all football decisions are made by Hurney.  All non-football decisions are made by her.

Will she stay when new owners take over?  Hard to say.  Possible she could but in a different capacity.

Guess we'll see.
