And a reminder for those expecting a sweeping change: “The system is in place. … We want to continue what we do.”

 

Rivera says the new offense will still include read-option, power running; still thinks that the run game is the identity of the team.

I think many of us that have been anti-Shula have had no problem with his run game SCHEMES.

Shula's problem is and always has been (1) situational awareness and play calling and (2) primitive and uncreative passing game.

Exactly. I was screaming at the tv. How do you come into a playoff game and not know what the second play of the game is gonna be?! We have to lead the league in wasted 1st half timeouts.
