I honestly think that CAP should be given more of a chance, provided he is out of the doghouse.

I think Im done with hoping CAP can carry the load.  He got his chance last year and blew it.  Its time to get some fresh young blood in here.  And a BIG NO for AP

I dont care about the spanking. If the child deserved it, he deserved it. Children are bad today because they dont get those spankings. But thats a whole different topic. I wouldnt mind him. He isnt a every down back but he can still hit the hole better than Stewart.

children are bad today because they're being raised by idiots who did get those spankings

Can't agree with you there. Stewart's not fine.

To me Peterson wouldn't be a better pick than Stewart.  We need to beef up the RB's but not with Peterson.  The draft should produce a bruiser back.  If need be, free agency could be depth.  We do have some good backs on the roster that needs some developing.

Nope for me. Soon to be 33 before the summer and didn't do much, despite the potential here with his familiarity with Norv's system. I also think JStew is done here too, or at least, I want him to be....haha. I do think we need fresh blood and would prefer.....

FA:

I'm fully on the Jeremy Hill train here.... young, big, had production successes prior to the previous 2 years (1 year injury) and could be had for cheap on a 'prove it deal'. I'd prefer Jerrick McKinnon, Isaiah Crowell or Carlos Hyde based on what we need, but too rich for our blood.

Draft:

Rashaad Penny, Nick Chubb or Ronald Jones. I think Penny boosted his stock to early-mid 2nd (unfortunately for us) after the Senior Bowl and could sneak into the latter first round after the combine. Love everything about him, but bigger needs in the first unless we trade back from 24 and add additional picks. Chubb probably isn't around to our 2nd round pick, but again, there's probably bigger needs that need to be addressed. Not sure where Jones will end up after the combine. I love Jones' style and see a bit of Kamara to him with his explosive big plays.

I personally wouldn't go after Peterson because from my perspective he's not much of an upgrade.  I would approach Stew and work out a cut and re-sign deal or just go ahead and cut him.  I would roll with Cap and CMC as the 2 man guys for this year.  Wouldn't rule out picking one up in the draft if a stud fell to day 2.
