I just do not get the Hurney love--sure, RR loves him because  he lets him pick the players. (I can prove that with circumstantial evidence,  but do not want to lose the rest of the momentum I am losing typing this aside).  Marty had a terrible draft record in the second through fourth rounds.  He overpaid for free agents off bad teams.  He was fired and nobody gave him a sniff for several years--until the Panthers had a run in with DG and JR probably lost his temper.  We have to get away from this buddy system because it taints the business decisions that makes champions.
