The question would be just how far back this behavior goes. Yes, we never heard about it, but it was going on nonenonetheless.

Hard to say.

There are definitely people who are going to want the Richardson statue gone altogether. Those folks won't be interested in cosmetic changes.

I don't see it going anywhere in the near future for sure, but once new ownership is in, the question will probably be debated.

It would be badass though, walking into Bofa stadium before a game. Looking at Sam Mills standing beside of two badass Panthers. The only other thing that needs to happen is the Panthers stay in Charlotte, and a statue of Thomas Davis is erected right beside of Mills. Imagine Mills and Davis together between two Panthers. It gives me goosebumps just thinking about it.

Never have understood why a living person would want a statue of themselves.  That seems extremely arrogant, and something a Caesar might do.  So I would take it down.  Maybe after about 10 years or so, name a road after him.  Or a parking lot.
