Jeremy Maclin. That'll be Hurney's Speedster

Still more relevant that trade posts. Baltimore is set to cut him and keep Brandon Carr. Seems like Ravens are just dumping all their receivers including Wallace. Maclin, though, still has some youth and speed that would match brilliantly with Cam. 4 years/30 million, could definitely do it.

There's no part of me that feels comfortable with signing Maclin and thinking everything's fine. That's literally what just happened with the Ravens.

I like him, but we'd need to bring someone else in as well.

Just now, RumHam said:

I just know if we only come away with paul richardson, that's a bad idea. He's Lockett 2.0.

well paul richardson is not that good anyways so if we get him and give him a russell shepard like contract ill be pissed.

I certainly think he's more versatile and likely the better route runner, but Wallace's durability may make him the more practical target.

It would be an interesting choice.

Unlike some others,  I'll take two. Competition is not going to hurt Samuel.

    • i presented this in another thread. he throws better to the out breaking routes the wr run, but almost nothing to the inside. that is half the options on a wr route tree. How do you run an offense like that?  even the outbreaking routes he throws are moonballs, that allow the DBs to catch up unless the wr is wide open. he has to throw with a lot of anticipation becuase he doesnt have the arm strenght to get it there if he is a little late. thats probably why you see balls behind the wrs.
