This excerpt from a letter that recently surfaced might clear up the "its complicated".

"Big Curt,

Do you think of me more like:

1. A second father

2. Daddy

3. A good friend

4. Friend with benefits

5. second cousin once removed

I regret that I've never been able to give you pleasure.

Yours Truely,

Riverboat"

You're that uncfan888 guy who sent my son those weird messages. I know it and you know it. You can swing whatever way you like - you're gonna swing in the wind in the end.

I didn't send your fake ass son poo. I posted it all on here for everyone to see. But tell him hey for me

Can you explain what he's talking about?

He's making things up. He signed on to a fake account claiming to be his son and then sent me a bunch of DMs. I posted them on here so people could see the insanity. Nothing more.

He has no son and he never coached a day in his life except if you count madden in his moms basement

Now it is reported that the problem was the amount of emails and texts to female staffers not the content that was the problem. Huh? Was he treating the Panthers FO like Tinder?

The report says the primary concern was the volume of Fuller’s communications with female staffers, not the content of the messages. At least one incident was reported to higher-ups within the organization last year.

The Panthers’ statement on the matter said only that Fuller resigned after he was approached with the result of an investigation centered on multiple complaints made about him. The Panthers said nothing about the nature of the complaints.

So he was just annoying? That’s enough to resign?

Sounds more stalkerish than annoying.

If someone texts you to ask you what you're doing, where you are or if you want to go to lunch, that may not be a big issue.

If they do it twenty times a day though? Yeah.

    • After last season, it was the same question. And the answer most people came to was "If he doesn't make the playoffs, he's gone." He made the playoffs. No matter how it was done, we made it to the playoffs. He's safe. He's going to have a chance to keep working this out, even if next season isn't a playoff one.  I think we'll do better next year than we did this season. There's something being built here.
    • The NBA is a very fickle league. Kon is one of the hottest rookies in years and beyond just his play on the court he is a very steady competitor and that translates to the rest of the team. That has been a glaring absence with the culture of this franchise through the bulk of the LaMelo Ball years that's just being completely blunt and realistic. The enigma of LaMelo Ball is he is entering year 6 and still either red hot or ice cold. We need him to find that sweet spot. Logic dictates the Hornets will want to see this core again next year. But the clock is beyond ticking at this point. It's put up or shut up. Especially considering what the Thunder managed to do recently. I'm hopeful they can keep these wins rolling in and get some much needed playoff experience under their belts which will help substantially.
    • I think as long as the Panthers are competitive with Canales they should keep him. Pepper needs to repair his/the teams image as a place prized free agents aren't hesitant to consider. Just dont do any crazy poo for a few years.
