Ehh.I don't agree with to only sending messages to them people listed. I talk to tons of guys and girls... its called FB Chat.

For me, the comment was tongue in cheek.  I do have a couple of close female friends, that I have known for more than 30 years.  But I am very careful these days about who I talk to, or allow myself to be alone with.  Or whom I have social media contacts with.

And yes, that may mean Rivera too. I know some will consider that unfair, but what can you do?

If I was a new owner buying a new multi-billion dollar toy, you're damn right I'd be fumigating the Panther's Executive, Administrative, and Management House from top-to-bottom.

Don't ever text or call your female co workers fellas. Everyone should know this by now.

Meh.  I met my current girlfriend at work.  We flirted back and forth and I'm sure I said or did some poo that would have been frowned upon if I was in a position of power, or rich, or both.

Sometimes it's good to be just a regular joe.

So let's see...

Owner accused, under investigation...

GM accused, ex-wife later retracts...

Quarterback accused of sexist remarks, apologizes...

SI article quotes Richardson accuser as saying that team executives knew about and witnessed Richardson's behavior and did nothing...

Assistant Coach accused and investigated, resigns...

Oy :eyeroll:

Newton's story wasn't on the same level as the others, but it's worth noting in this context specifically because he's the only guy who really stood up and took any responsibility for his actions.

Gotta say, housecleaning is looking more and more like the best option once the ownership changes hands.

I think if a lot of people won’t to keep their job moving forward they better make a run for back to back winning season and playoffs.

So the issue, according to the Observer, is the "volume of communications rather than their content". So this guy probably started off innocently enough, then got clingy/stalker-ish and did not know when to quit. I'm sure they kept the worst of it hush hush under the agreement that he'd be fired promptly if they didn't tell that part publicly. The resignation was for him to save face and for the organization to keep up appearances of having high moral standard in a time where JR is going through his own thing.

If I'm Ron, I'm holding a staff meeting and laying it all out. Do's and don'ts and chance to come clean with anything now so it can be handled. Then, first full team meeting, same talk. It's the only way for something like this to not sneak up on us again.
