Reading up on Tepper

One other note...

A short time back, you might remember a story coming out that some folks in Steelers ownership were pushing for the team to dump Head Coach Mike Tomlin.

David Tepper was confirmed to have been part of that effort.

I like it.  Mike Tomlin has turned into the new Rex Ryan. Absolutley obsessed with beating the Patriots

Mark my words, his owning this franchise will not be a good thing. You think the first 20+ years were up and down, wait for the next 20.  Anyone that wanted Tomlin fired is an idiot.

I just can't get myself interested in what billionaire is compared to the next billionaire.

Spoiler alert: They will all make the decisions that will yield the greatest return on their investment. None of them actually care about the team.

Cynical much?

I think Rubin would care about the team.

Navarro gave off a different vibe to me, but it doesn't matter now.

The only thing I've really wanted was an owner who would put competent people in charge and let them run things without meddling.  If Tepper does that, I'm fine with it.

I think many are higher on Tomlin than I am.

Plays in the AFC, has had a top 6 QB, a top 5 offense, a very good defense, and one of the very best run organizations in all of sports.

I think there is better out there to be honest.

You don't credit him for that? Those should be accolades
