I am concerned with reports of his extreme frugality.  It probably won't affect the overall money spent on players, but it could very well affect coaching salaries and the Panthers' ability to attract good people.  Then again, he's a very accomplished business man so he may well understand the value of spending money to make money.  We'll have to wait and see.

Third happiest day as a fan of this franchise behind the two NFC Championship games. Also the most important day of this franchise's history.

We finally got rid of the cancer that has held this team back for two decades plus. The single worst owner in the NFL is out of the league and our lives forever. He was a fraud who never gave two shits about the fans and always prioritized the health of the league over the franchise. Good riddance to that clown and for the first time in franchise history we have a real opportunity to become a legitimate franchise with sustained success. There is nothing that David Tepper could do worse than what his joke of a predecessor has done. 

Be pumped everyone. It's a great day to be a fan of the Carolina Panthers.

First let me say that as a fan of the team that Richardson founded I am very thankful. 

I'm also saddened that the founder of my favorite team quite possibly is someone that we as fans cannot be proud of due to his own proclivities but must look upon him in shame.

With that said, I am looking forward to a new era of football that is not controlled by the whim's of an old man who has mired this franchise in mediocrity since inception.  I welcome it, I embrace it, I will keep an open mind.
