i don’t think he’s a great fit as a character tbh, and some of his posts on Twitter were a bit irrational sounding.

I would also worry that if he retires you can add him to a list of 4 or so other starting positions that will need filling at the end of the coming season.

My personal preference is that they let someone else try to win the spot so that next year we aren’t disjointed.

If not for the weird Oher situation DG actually did a great job at OT. Oher was an above average LT for us when healthy and Remmers was actually decent before Williams stepped up this year. If we had Oher and Williams playing at this level our line would’ve been top 3. Kalil was a terrible signing and I saw it coming but that had JR’s hands all over it.
