Ron Rivera Already On That BS

As long as Ron allows for an open and honest competition then I’m not too worried. Amini won’t win it. The fact that Ron is openly talking about hoping someone steps up gives me hope. That’s about as close as Ron will ever come to straight up saying that he’s not just going to hand the vet the job.

Why should anyone be surprised at this.  He is the only one in the roster who has played LG in the nfl.....the other guys are rookies and guys looking to change positions.

Of course he is penciled in at the top prior to training camp.  Let the competition begin.

Sirles has. He's the one that should've started at the top.

welp  if Ron thinks he can just be good ol' Ron again this year, then he'll be out of a job next year. Tepper ain't putting up with that.

Straight like that if he JR smith us by putting him out there no matter what it's probably going to cost him.

Sirels actually graded higher (pff) then Amini last season not much but better is better, played in Norvs system recently graded higher in a bunch of games in 2016 NONE of Amini's play has warranted having a leg up on anyone it's a new system I don't see how that makes sense. Sirels should have the leg up knowing the system and being  slightly better if anybody has the inside track wouldn't you say? He played tackle RT for ten games graded fairly well in 2016 just imagine Amini starting RT lmfao. I'm surprised we didnt draft a lineman then turn around and even mention Amini as a starter it baffles me that left side looks like it does. The man ended up on his back one play his face a couple plays later last year, this clip is from 2014 no way this guy has the leg up on any player in them league based off this and many other ridiculous blocking efforts.

Edit: if anyone can gif that joint I'd be grateful if not just make sure you check Mr leg up on the competition at the point of attack like really my guy.

I don't know about Tepper's level of football knowledge, but we all know how bad Amini sucks, and he'll soon know if he doesn't already.  I hope he stomps that mediocrity mindset right the hell up outta here.

    • When we have everyone playing like they should, we can win the Cup. That has been the biggest problem when we get to the playoffs, but this year seems to be fixed mostly. We could have had multiple if we had done this in the past.
    • Here we go Bryce Stan’s you should love this. Hell it may be one of you.  It has every cliche excuse and then some.  Unintentionally hilarious my limit was reached when he said Bryce had it hard because four play callers.
    • Luke goes in to the specifics of what he looked to accomplish in joint practices.  Basically they may work with someone on the opposing team to stress something they feel is a weakness in their own game in a different way that can be done with someone they are familiar with. That they can have predetermined stresses but since neither wants to get injured and it has absolutely no bearing on anything there is not the level of concern that would be in a preseason game.  He would also even chat with opposing OC.   It seems like an interesting nuance among the vets and savy pros.
