The guy has been there for us on the field and off the field. He was a great investment, great player, great teammate and great member of the community. The guy earned his paychecks week in and week out, both the big ones and the smaller ones.

If this is it for him, then thanks CJ for the games. It has been our distinct pleasure having you with us for your career. Please stick around and keep being part of this organization!

I remember watching him during OTAs as a rookie and second year player--then, there was no tarp and the DL practiced in a corner away from the street side of the field.  You could see and hear the coaches and players interacting. CJ was a goofball---he was always getting yelled at by the coach.  One day,  CJ was not getting something right, but the coach kept yelling at him.  CJ just stood on the side of the drill, hands on hip, watching the other players do the drill.  It did not seem to bother him.  He had done nothing in the league at that point, and he was struggling through basic drills.  I thought, "There goes a bust if I have ever seen one..."  Not much of a story, but he did come a long way from a third round pick to what he was in his prime.

    • I don't do locks lol. I just bet +1000 and up and can hit at a decent rate. Combine ml winners and team shots on target. Do better in champions league than anything else
    • Did not expect this from national media. https://www.foxsports.com/stories/nfl/10-best-nfl-defenses-2026-texans-seahawks-broncos 10. Carolina Panthers   Key additions: OLB Jaelan Phillips (FA), LB Devin Lloyd (FA), DT Lee Hunter (draft) Key losses: DT A’Shawn Robinson (FA) Don’t be surprised to see the Panthers, who ranked 15th in points allowed and 16th in yards given up last season, make the leap into the top-10 conversation in 2026.  They added two of the marquee defensive free agents in edge rusher Jaelan Phillips and linebacker Devin Lloyd. Cornerback Jaycee Horn is coming off back-to-back Pro Bowl seasons. Carolina lost starting defensive tackle A’Shawn Robinson in free agency but essentially replaced him with second-round pick Lee Hunter, who had 10.5 tackles for loss at Texas Tech last season.  Ejiro Evero, one of the NFL’s most respected defensive coordinators, has plenty of talent to work with.
    • unless you have a bonafide superstar at Qb you bring in competition every year until you do & or at the very least you want a legitimate plan B in case of an injury .the problem in Carolina is they know Bryce ayoung most likely could not actually win a real legitimate NFL Qb competition right now & if & when he did not win that aforesaid Qb competition it would not only be a major distraction but a setback to his overall development.& moreover once the fans realized they had a much better Qb on the roster it would be alot of public pressure to start the better Qb  ...just saying
