Has anyone heard anything on him since pads were on?

I think this kid could be a sick joker pass rusher

People have said how quick he's looked blowing past his guy in shorts.  People like @Jeremy Igo have said "just wait until they get pads on and OL can make contact"

Well now is that time. How's he looked?

Marquis Haynes = Nickel & Dime package rusher (depth) & ST's at this early stage in his career; however I have high hopes.

I'm hoping around the mid way point or so he'll see some time, SPEED off the edge is something we've needed for a while -- if he and Hall develop this season into next we may not be as far off at defensive end as we might feel. Addision and Horton would likely still be here next season, plus a potential draft pick to continue to add young talent.

We shall see.

4-3 DE is deep next year. Glad we avoided DE this year. My only change in our draft is that I would have tried like heck to trade up in the mid 30s (Indy) with Norwell’s comp and something else to move up from Donte Jackson to get Hernandez (35) or Daniels (39). We’d be set at G this year and with Daniels we’d have our C when Kalil retires. Also, if Moton flashes we could use the DW money for Funchess.

You lookin at Clemson's DEs again? I know Nick Bosa(Ohio State) is supposed to be great and Ed Oliver(Houston) but he is a DT even though he gets pressure.

    • Who were we going to trade up with? The Dolphins wanted Proctor, the Rams were vehement on taking Ty Simpson, the Ravens wanted Ioane, and the Bucs werent trading with us except for maybe a kings ransom. Even if we wanted to move, we had no partner. Moot point.
    • Devin Lloyd is a stud lb but who is next to him? Prince and Nic should improve. Lee was super value but i am not counting this fourth round chicken yet. I would expect some improvement; hope to eat my words w/ a top ten D.
    • I mean I agree about diminished Cam probably still being viable. Even though it gave a preview of how teams would defend the pass against a limited QB. There was an issue with the upcoming contract he was due to get and his expectations vs the new reality of his physical status - that people tend to  overlook when looking back on it  It had an effect on things I believe   But I do have to ask… what about Tepper’s second major move? fuging clueless   I mean I would take even an injured  Cam over Bryce all day long.
