Current available corners and safeies who we should look at that are still available... With the injury to Rock which i was happy with signing and currently BleacherReport ranking us #29 in secondary.  I believe we should sign someone for competition atleast...

This is off the top 50 FA available (All positions rank)

#6 CB Dominque Rogers-Cromartie

#8 S Kenny Vaccaro

#14 CB Kavyon Webster

#16 S Mike Mitchell

#27 CB Jeremy Lane (Pending Health)

So far, camp reports on the secondary have sounded pretty positive for the most part.

We may have to sign or trade for an OL. Sounds like the left side of the OL is the nightmare we all feared it would be.

I would be shocked if the left side of the O-line can perform at a below average level. I am expecting a train wreck if it is Kalil and Aminu.

Again, I am just praying that Cam can make it out alive this season

It all hinges on Matt Kalil. He has to play a lot better than he did last year. I've already accepted that we're going to be week at LG. That ship saled when Williams's injury forced Moton to step in at RT. You can't tell me that there won't be better options than Amini available after final cuts though. I really hope we pursue other options if someone currently on the roster can't unseat him. He's horrible.

Mitchell isn't any good. No to him. Everyone in Pittsburgh is glad he's gone. He's only gotten worse since his time with us.

I'd be fine for anyone else though.

Mitchell was never good he just flourished in our system behind the best d line we've had in years. Can't understand the people that want Mitchell back lol

    • I mean, I think you're being a little hyperbolic with the last statement, but point taken.
    • Pass rush was the biggest issue in tonight’s game, and we were tied for 28th in sacks this season. That is a major area of need that has to get addressed this offseason. I just don’t see a path where there’s a game changing QB you can bring in with where we are drafting and quality of veterans that will be available. We certainly can do better than Dalton as a backup, and should ideally have a developmental guy  (perhaps a day 3 pick this year). We have bryce for one more year on a reasonable contract and then I think 2027 is the year that you reset that position (unless he massively improves).
    • Agreed, honestly basically bringing this group back as a healthy unit would be alright.  Brady Christensen should be resigned to a very reasonable deal with him recovering from the Achilles.  Atleast we're alright at 4 of our 5 spots with Lewis, Mays, Hunt, and Moton, Nijman was decent.  While if we can snag a deal on someone, take a stab, however our resources need to go to Linebacker, Pass Rush and a real option outside Tmac (coker is amazing, but if we can get someone who isnt braindead opposite Tmac, we can fully unleash Coker AND Tmacs full potential, cant move him into the slot if racoon boy is out there licking doorknobs).
