Dj Moore..

I swear that 2014 draft has people thinking that was normal. Rookie WRs RARELY do anything their first year, let alone their first PRESEASON games. It usually takes 2 or 3 years before they even start producing at a consistent level. Go look at the last 3 years rookie WR class.

Moore has some issues with getting off the line right now, but if he fixes that and refines his route running he is going to be a dynamic WR. I have no fear at the moment that he can't do both of those things over time.

Especially with Norv around who still gets very hands on in coaching his WRs

He needs to call Agent 89 and get some personal lessons. Nobody could jam 89.

    • a 4th for him is well worth the risk.  It is also a low enough pick that it shouldn't really shake the locker room.  A 4th rounder that will sit this year and maybe take Pickett's spot next year or best case midseason where we can flip Kenny to a QB needy team midseason.  It's also a nice insurance policy for Young.  Especially with him sitting a year and learning the system.  Seems like a low risk move.  You can still draft one next year if needed and let them compete.
    • He was draft eligible last year and chose to go back to transfer and play another year of college ball despite it being a weak QB draft and next year's considered to likely he far better and now people think teams are going to part with a higher pick than he would've gotten drafted with in April after it's come out that he's basically a degenerate gambling addict? What am I missing here? I'll be surprised if any team offers up more than a 5th and it won't surprise me if no one even offers that.
    • If You’re a team with multiple 1st round picks it would be a decent setup for a gamble - if I understand the rules.  You are bidding 2027 currency and get to use the player in 2026.     You get the season to look at him and if you are unhappy then you still have another 1st round pick for after the season. Two in the case of the Jets.   So if you mess it up there is a fast way to recover from it.
