League frightened that Richardson may be the first of many

Before this turns into a general male bashing echo chamber, let's not forget that one of the early leaders of the me too movement is caught up in her own me too situation right now, with an underaged (at the time) person.

Money and power just have a way of bringing put the worst in people sometimes, regardless of sex, religion, or race.

I think if it weren't for SI (and most likely, Jonathan Jones) Richardson would still be here.

I think once they got their teeth sunk into him, the other owners were more than happy to let the older, weaker member of the herd take one for the team.

The rest will be insulated by money and influence for another five years. I don't like it, because I know there's got to be even worse than Richardson in that bunch, but that's just the way it goes. The whole thing will slide back off the front burner and start to slowly fade from the front pages because it's old news and because all parties involved are aware of the golden goose they are sharing.

Now if a network with no NFL connections were to get some hooks into a juicy story... oh yeah, Al Jazeera America and Peyton Manning. Peyton got another ring, never proved innocence, is a lock first ballot HoF guy and Al Jazeera America has ghosted not from the story but from existence. (That being said, I don't think Al Jazeera aiming for American viewers was a well-baked idea in the first place.)

Yea, he was on it and never let up.

I always thought it was a little too "coincidental" that a relatively short time after Jonathan Jones joined SI, they started investigating Jerry Richardson.

People can blame politics or social justice warriors or whatever if they want to.  Doesn't really matter.  He was right.

Remember the good old days when we had football to look forward to and not all this bull$hit? I'm honestly worried about the future of everything. People suck.

All people share two traits - imperfection and mortality. Ironically, without imperfection and mortality life would be extremely boring. Without wrong there can be no right. Each needs the other to exist.
