NFLN crew makes their NFC South Division predictions

The Panthers were omitted entirely from the segment as it spiraled around atlanta and new orleans and each was selected by numerous pundits to win the division.

Don't worry though, the panthers did make an appearance in a later segment, when they were the only team in the NFC from last year's playoffs who wouldn't return, being instead replaced by the cowboys (lol)

this segment was spearheaded by Michael Irvin who said the panthers wouldn't return because "they've got a lot of injuries on the offensive and defensive line" (lol what) and that the cowboys would get in because they're loaded with defensive all-stars like Byron Jones (lol)

I don't know about you but the NFL season snuck up on me this year. Now Sunday can't come soon enough.

Same pundit trash, new season.

I don't even watch Sunday pre-game shows anymore. When you've watched the NFL for as long as I have, you realize that these "expets" don't know poo.

The pregames have become less about football and game information and more about fluff pieces and hot-takes.

And the Cowboys.  Pre games and indeed most of the sports shows have become nearly unwatchable.  For the NFL, its about the Cowboys, Steelers, Patriots, and oh yeah, there are 29 other teams.

    • The panthers are such a trash organization at this point that all the huddle can do is argue about which panthers team is historically the worst…good times.
    • Well, hope they're not worried about a torn Labrum or Rotator Cuff, as someone who went through that myself, I know those don't have anything show up on X-Rays but from the MRI, so this is kinda a nothing update, hope it's not a tear or his season is already over if they decide to do surgery now. Which is basically what would be needed to get him to 100% for the start of next season's training camp if it's a labrum.  If he plays the season with it and then does surgery, he's not going to be ready for camp and probably not the start of the season either.
    • I always try to not pay much attention to a team’s preseason win/loss record. The 1982 Washington and 2021 LA Rams both lost every game in the preseason and went on to win the Super Bowl, whereas the 2008 Detroit Lions and 2017 Cleveland Browns both won every game in reason and went on to lose every regular season game. There’s many examples of teams that lose in preseason that go on to have good seasons, but equally there are teams that lose in preseason and that continues in the regular season. Which will we be?  I think our floor is a handful of wins, while our ceiling will probably be around the 9-10 win mark. The latter will require significant improvement from the whole team and coaching staff, and will also need Bryce to play like the QB we drafted him to be. I want to be optimistic and predict a winning season, but it’s really difficult as a Panthers fan!
