A back issue led to Olsen’s spot on the report, but it does not look like it will keep him from facing the Cowboys. According to multiple reports, Olsen is expected to play on Sunday.

The Panthers also listed right tackle Daryl Williamsas questionable to play due to the dislocated kneecap he suffered during training camp. Williams was initially expected to miss games due to the injury, but he’s made a quick recovery and Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports he is “looking good” to be in the lineup.

I think its a mistake to start d williams so early after that knee injury,  if he does play i hope he doesnt re injure or make it a lot worse

Its sounding like greg will be a gametime descision  but i dont think ron wants the cowboys to know ahead of time greg might not play and gameplan around it

It is shocking to see Williams play but of the doctors say he is good to go what can you do in that situation? We only have 16 games and the division could come down to a single game. Tough decision for Rivera but I cannot say I wouldn’t make the same decision if he has been cleared

i just wonder to what extent he's been "cleared"

im concerned that rivera thinks he's doing him a favor by letting him play since this is obviously a very important year for williams. im also concerned that the staff is letting the sad state of the line influence this decision. part of being a coach is protecting players from themselves and it's going to be terrible if williams further injures his knee and has his career derailed.

I feel you but our staff has to be one who puts no pressure on one to play think back to Ryan K last year if you're cleared that's it there's no levels you either can play or not I think he'll be fine nobody would risk their career these days I don't think. If he needed a week or two he'd get it but he's been practicing pain free all week time to goto work.

Ive had many of the same concerns already mentioned. But if they are willing to play him, I trust he is at least 85%. This staff sat Cam for an opener. And he could have played. So if they are willing to risk Williams season, I’m taking it as a sign he is close to healthy.

I don’t believe they would sacrifice his long term health for one game if he was not ready. We still want him in our long term plans, and Rivera has typically never rushed players back from injuries before they are ready to go. Look at Kalil last year, and Luke even after he was cleared from concussions.

    • More so than the stats it was against that killer defense in their own stadium, the same defense that made Mahomes look like a total JAG in the SB. The way Bryce handled adversity all game was simply phenomenal , the off script play in the end zone, scrambling out of a sack/safety to find XL deep was one of the best plays we have seen out of a Panthers QB on what should have been a game winning drive
    • He’s about to be 0-12 in the conference finals and we’ve been outscored 16-4 in this series after only losing 2 games the previous two rounds and looking really in control of the series. There’s major red flags here as to why he seems so overmatched once he gets to a certain level. There comes a point where “just getting there” isn’t good enough. We are at that point.
    • Listening to the post-game, and holy poo! Has Rod ever said, "this one's on me." When asked about composure, he threw Staal and Martinook under the bus. "Those 2 can't be your best players." Disregarding that he didnt answer the question, does he realize how that sounds to professional athletes? When asked how you prepare for game 4, "I'm not even thinking about that." Clearly, Rod.
