Am I the only one having a  hard time seeing Shaq lose reps once TD comes back from suspension? Shaq had an awesome preseason and carried it over into yesterdays game. He seems to be coming into his own and I want to see him stay on the field as a starter and not a situational LB like he's been most of his career

Shaq is a beast and will play as such. If he plays the true LB spot he thrives. He does well in the buffalo package against bigger WRs, but when he goes against a slot or a speedy rb, he gets torched. He does well against bigger TEs as well. That sack he had was so quick I almost missed it. Maybe we will blitz him more in the future?

TD has a role on this team and it is veteran LB depth. If something happens to Luke or Shaq, TD will be very important.  He should also be used situationally, in short yardage situations. He should not be an every down starter at this point in his career.

I'm afraid Shaq is going to pop so much that it will be hard for us to retain him. I hope both sides are already working on a deal.

How many remember when TD was a safety at Georgia and the Panthers drafted him knowing he would grow up to be a LB?

Been saying it since Shaq was drafted- he's the next version of TD. Not necessarily the next TD, but certainly the next version.

With our key vets getting injured every other week I'm hoping Ron finally sees the writing on the wall. TD's also lost a step and I could see him getting some of his burst back if he was used as a rotational piece.

I really wish all the people screaming about how Shaq was a wasted pick and should be gone from the team would come forward.  It was an absolute joke at the time and was legit more than half of the Huddle.

I considered Shaq to be a luxury pick in 2015 with TD and Luke already on the roster. I thought we needed a tackle because I wasn't sold on Oher as a permanent solution to that spot. I'll admit I wasn't thrilled with the pick at the time. I liked Donovan Smith and thought he should have been the pick at the time.
