Put our best WRs on the field for Cam. Wright and Moore outside with CMC in the slot. Let CJ be the workhorse RB. I didn't want that to happen before the season. I wanted CMC to be the workhorse RB, but Funchess and Smith are stinking up the place and we can't be waiting for them to finally do something.

If learning 3 different positions is what is keeping Moore off the field then the solution seems pretty obvious

And then we are stuck with a RB who catches passes off his face, CMC will be up against a nickel instead of linebackers and our TE still doesn't need to be respected in the passing game yet. Sounds like something you would do for a game or two but not a whole season. We need our WR to step up and be real WRs.

That's not the norm for CJ and he was a 1,000 yard rusher last year with over 4 yards a carry. CMC can still go back to the backfield when we aren't using a slot WR. Just when we are using 3 WRs, we need to put our best out there.

I don't totally disagree but still feel our strongest lineup at the moment is Funchess, Samuel, Smith with CMC as the back who can run 4.8 ypc or catch the checkdown.

Good on Ron. There are plenty of pig headish coaches in today's NFL that would be reluctant to admit something so obvious. Ron does a good job correcting flaws with his teams and before you know it we rip off 4 or 5 wins in a row instead of dropping the next 4 of 5 like many feel this team may do.

I'll wait until I see it. He's said similar things in the past and it never materializes.

Well yeah when Samuel comes back, then I would insert him instead of CMC as the top 3.

Nope but he always get better and becomes reliable hands.

I think a big issue is Cam tends to like to throw to guys who have drops to build their confidence and try and get a rhythm. Which is perfectly acceptable to do but it has its downsides when you got a guy like Moore waiting in the wings who can flash. Got to spread the ball around. 

Funchess will be fine. Was just an all around off day.

Replace Smith with Moore or Wright

Smith has been the weakest link in this group.

Dude looks like Worley could blanket him.  Multiple drops looking like Shepard, and just penalties.  30 yards recieving and 25 yards penalties
