ehhhhh, we got the ball back with over a minute left and one timeout, only needing a field goal to win. Other than the kick itself, there was really nothing miraculous or out of the ordinary winning a game in that situation, it happens every week in the NFL.

That's exactly my point though. We only managed to give Gano a field goal try from the Giants 46 yard line. That's Hail Mary territory for most teams and you should lose in that scenario about 999 times out of 1000.

While it wasn't pretty and we very easily could have lost, I don't understand why people are acting like we suck cuz we had a very close game with the giants when they very nearly beat the Saints as well. Yet those same people still think the Saints are very good (which they are). Just saying, the logic doesn't really make sense. Teams have off games and bad teams have good games too.

All the whining and crying here cracks me TF up.

Some people are quick to forget at one time we had David Carr as a QB.

Start the highlight reel at 11:34, Cam makes two key passes to Moore and CMC. For  the Cam bashers. I shudder to think if Jimmy 'The Pickle' Claussen was under center.

The panic comes from decades of being a Panthers fan, having seen the team blow it in the 4th quarter way too many times, see the team make the same mistakes over and over again, and realize that this team is very lucky to be 3-1 right now.

The good news is there are plenty of areas to improve on yet we still pulled out the win. A loss here would have just felt like “yep, we deserved to lose that one”. The playcalling becoming stagnant in he second half. The defense making mistakes. Cam being off his game trying to press too much. This was far from a perfect game, yet we still scored 33 points and got the win.

This is the type of game that builds character, at least that’s my hope.

If you don't think there should be bitching over a game that would have literally ended in a loss 99.9% of the time, I don't know what to tell you. I don't think there should be as MUCH bitching, but the odds of that win were about 1 in 1000.

its called finishing a game , you think new england fans bitch about them just winning ? no

    • Lil Stanky 100% in the dot tonight... And our 2nd line has been our best offensive line this season. Maybe our 2C really was on the roster this whole time...?
    • That’s a grade I kind of expected tbh. I’m not a huge fan of NS, but he’s not as bad as what the huddle says he is minus the horrible game he had vs the Rams. I’ve always thought he’s often used as a scapegoat. The improved pass rush should hide his deficiencies a little bit better if he’s the game one starter. FS might have to be a position we punt on this year unless Thieneman falls to us at 19. The reality is, you're going to have a few average players in certain spots for a team with as many holes we had before free agency started. You can’t sign everyone.
    • I am by no means trying to say he's a world beater. I'm saying it's trending in the right direction. Especially when measured against himself.i think the team feel the same way or else they wouldn't have picked up his option. Plus I think there is a new idea in the NFL about these young QBs. Teams give up to soon. Browns gave up to soon on baker same with the jets on Geno and darnold. Maybe they are who you thought they were in the draft process and they need more time to develop than you originally planned. Either way. I do think he is as capable as darnold is as far as you can win a championship with him. And something he does have that darnold doesn't is he is clutch.  If I need one more drive and 2 mins to go I'm betting on Bryce and I am far from a homer, just going off his game winning drives. He has that dog in him on the last drive.
