Byrd out again

I know a lot of us want Byrd to become a solid, consistent contributor, but I'm really uncertain whether that's going to happen.

Hate it for the kid, but still doesn’t hurt to keep him. Even if he were healthy there’s no guarantee he’d be active weekly anyways.

Sucks, he has all the talent in the world, but his frame just can't take the hits at this level :( I don't even know why he's hurt his time haha

It's pretty clear by this point we'll never be able to count on him as a regular contributor. I thought he had potential to help the offense, but all he is and will ever be is a 4/5 Wr and special teamer.

I'm not in favor of dumping him just yet, but I also don't think anybody should hold their breath waiting for him to break out.

There's probably going to come a time when the team is ready to cut bait, and it feels like it's going to be sooner rather than later.

I mostly consider him a PR anyway. He's the best returner we've had since Steve Smith. We've suffered at returning punts for such a long time and we've finally found our answer. Anything he can do at WR is just a bonus. So did he get hurt again? Or we just deactivating him for funsies?

This isn't worth it for us just let the kid focus on dominating as a wideout I understand it's part of the game but it's like Ron doesn't realize his potential and believes no catches was just a bad day.

Yea not yet but it's getting close seriously I can see him getting IR'd  for Frazier he made to many plays im sure they'd make that move. I love Byrd and his potential but he just can't cut it.

I think we still have a WR void to fill in the draft. We just need to keep drafting till they stick.
