Panthers employees agreed

Man, I can't wait to see what the Panthers Social Media team does! =)

I'm glad that we're getting the short end of the stick in terms of respect.  We always perform better that way.  I hope we can carry a BIG chip the rest of the season, which will only help us play better.

Cam needs to have a complete game on regular basis.

1st and 2nd half

Drew Brees didn’t do much until the 4th too so I guess you can say the same about him. Rodgers has had several games this year where he didn’t do anything until the 4th. Oh also these players don’t have a new OC with a patchwork offensive line.... Cam had a great comeback that few QBs can do in this league and people still want to give him criticism.

Unfortunately, it took until the 4th quarter for Rivera and Co. to find something that was working.  Now, prepare to completely go away from it unless we're on life support again.  Directly from the horse's ass' mouth:

Ron Rivera says he'll look at doing more no-huddle, "but I don't think it's going to be something that will drive us as an offense."

Yeah but when Brady, Luck and Rogers are poo for 3 quarters and make 4th quarter comebacks the leading story everywhere is how amazing they were

Right!  I mean good QBs play perfectly every game the whole way through...i really don't understand some of our fans. Philadelphia had all of the momentum going into that 4th quarter, it takes  a GREAT player to turn that energy around. By that logic all of the hall of famers on that 4th quarter comeback list must've really needed to be more consistent so they wouldn't have needed to come back from being down in the 4th quarter..."elite" QBs must dominate every week from start to finish, like Tom Brady did in that super bowl....oh wait down 28-3 at halftime...that can't be right, he must need to concentrate and want it more and work harder if he wants to be any good...

The week before it was cam's not good enough to bring us back in the 4th...next week he does just that  down even more and these folks just move the yard stick again...it's ridiculous

    • The key difference being expectation. Jake was basically an afterthought of a free agent signing. Bryce is a guy we mortgaged the franchise on to be THE GUY. Not to mention a different era of football before all the rule changes to benefit the passing game. I don't care how we win either. I just realize that the odds of continuing to win in today's NFL with this level of QB play are very low. If I knew for sure that the Panthers had already decided to pursue other options at QB this off-season I could breathe a sigh of relief but of course they're not going to say that publicly.
    • Malik Willis, Will Levis and that backup kid on the Eagles.  All would be better in Canales’ system and all would be better than Bryce. So there are 3 for you.
    • On some of those "GWDs" he literally didn't even complete a pass. It's a terrible metric. Did the team possess the ball and score to go up near the end of the game? If yes, then GWD for the QB. What? Even if he doesn't even do anything?
