Matty Meltdown has a...meltdown

Well, when it comes to the Falcons, they certainly are ones to break molds and find the best ways to suck when they should be good.

And of course, one particular Failcon doesn't like being bad at football. Take a look at him freaking out on the sideline after realizing he lost to the fugging Browns.

What makes it funnier is how his lips read "fudge" when he says it.

It's fun to see them flop.

You must understand, that isn't immaturity and classlessness, that's PASSION and DRIVE.

Because of reasons that we all understand.

I get what you are insinuating, however Cam would not have had that response. I’m not sure that would be a natural response for him, but I’m sure if he did, the media would crucify him.

Certain guys showing emotion is OK. Others are expected to hand the ref the ball, sit down and shut up.

Lol.

I see other teams trying desperately to load up for the last half of the season and playoffs. I would hope our team would follow that strategy.

We need another guy in the DE rotation desperately. Pep CAN play all game but should he? I like Addison but I'm not hearing his name every game like Pep, Luke or TD. Obada is a project.

I gaurantee this won't be the Matty we see after the Saints. Until we can consistently beat these guys like we used to Ive got to give credit where credit is due.

We sorely miss a guy like Charles Johnson who was a solid run defender.

I know everyone here thinks Nails and I are crazy but uuuuuuuh. Don't know if the guy is in football shape or could pass a physical but...

Imagine how motivated THAT guy would be to play on this roster. Believe me, Drew Brees was soooo happy when that foolishness went down. Hardy used to ragdoll him. Past is the past. SB is in the future of the brave.

    • I do think the rating is fair given how this unit hasn’t proven it with production. I understand you have to rank off production, not potential. However, our unit is also in a position to make this rating look foolish a year from now. We have 4 guys in the WR/TE room who all could legitimately take the next step this year, and catapult our rank. A guy under a lot of people’s radar after we took Tet, Jalen Coker. Mark my words, he will become the star of this room, and be the heir to Thielen.
    • Exactly. You’d think 2-7 wins a year (in a 17 game season no less) since 2017 is going to keep us bottom tier. Every year we say the same poo like we haven’t been a bad team the past 7 years. Until we prove we aren’t a bottom dweller, that’s where we’ll stay ranked. God forbid we have OL injuries like 2016.
    • What I love and hate about this team is it’s more filled with potential breakout players than ever before. JT, XL, Coker, Smith-Wade, Ikem, Trevin… and even Bryce are all guys I could legitimately see taking the next step. But the problem with having so many of those guys is that team success somewhat relies on them taking that step, and some are bound not to. That being said, I’m cautiously optimistic given our softer schedule, the way the offense clicked late last year, and the direction we finally have at GM, coach, and QB. Could see us as a sneaky playoff team.
