While Ron Rivera is at the Kentucky Derby wearing dumb hats and sipping mint julips

I remember a interview in Ron’s first few years as HC here they ask him about his style and routine. And he sad he wasn’t sleeping in his office or staying late watching film that they should be able to do what was needed without living at the facility.

I don’t blame him some. But I remember thinking dam that ain’t a good look for a first time HC, hope he knows his chit.

Im not saying they should live and sleep in their office. But I wonder if Ron’s spending enough quality time there to actually out coach another HC  so far doesn’t look like it

Also I believe a team takes on a coaches personality so with Ron saying I’m not working but set amount of hours a day , maybe the players take on his lackadaisical attitude towards the game

I’d kinda rather have a gym rat than a coach that says I’m not working any overtime. It’s obvious Ron ain’t the sharpest tool in the shed. I don’t think some extra time in the film room would hurt him.

The fact that he didn’t even have the players watch the Steelers loss is baffling to me. They should have watched that numerous times if for nothing else than to point out the lack of effort from our defensive tackles and our linebackers being completely out of position.

Couple that with not having the team back to work until Tuesday and you’ve got a coach that has no clue how to fix his issues.

I don’t blame Ron for all of this. Lord knows Dave Gettleman was absolute poo at drafting and jerry Richardson would rather value relationships (TD, Olsen, Kalil’s) over winning, but Ron is working real hard to get himself fired.

Sunday is an absolute must win. Lose that game and your path to the playoffs is on life support.

I don't care about the process, I care about the results. Coaches aren't paid hourly, they're paid to produce results.
