Not really embarrassing though IMO, as it wasn't completely decided until Kam's pick 6. Not a pretty game by any means, but not a Super Bowl 48-type of game either.

I agree somewhat, we have the sane coach and same defense skim. TD is not that version he can't cover like he use to and Luke looks a little slower or something. Munnerlyn is slow cant cover only thing he is good at is blitzing. We are not getting any holding calls on that side of the ball. Last yr was the time but injuries killed the dream. Now Rivera has done us in with no defense. Our draft picks on the defense side are bust. Except Jackson and now he is getting knicked up. Just sad for Cam cause it seems no matter what he does he loses. We have made full circle when Cam was drafted offense with no defense.

No, that team was very young after dealing with a veteran purge after 2013, and dealing with a ton of injuries especially on the offensive side of the ball. This team is just flat out underachieving. Huge difference.

That year screwed our Super Bowl chances in s way . We had no right to make the playoffs and we missed out on a good draft position

If we manage to get into the playoffs it will be because our team has drastically improved and we probably will win our playoff games. Ask me the percentage on that happening though.

Our defense has been consistently full of suck. Every time the offense gives us a lead, the defense bends over for the other team with Luke running around like a chicken with his head cut off not knowing where to go. Not going to happen.

exactly. We could have a cheifs/rams level offense but with this shitty ass defense it wouldnt matter

It was nearly as bad in 2014.  We got abused defensively for about 7 or 8 in a row.  The worst was the Philly game.  Then it started turning around.  

 

We could turn things around of course.  The offense has been playing well for the most part, but just isn't putting points on the board.  That could change.  I doubt it will, but anything is possible.
