[Voth] Cam Newton on shoulder surgery after the season.

[Voth] Cam Newton “can’t confirm, can’t deny” he’ll need shoulder surgery after the season.

A player doesn't make this comment without some justification.

IMHO, time to shut him down.

Cam especially doesn't make a comment like that unless it is really bad. He's basically the black knight from Monty Python when it comes to his injuries.

There was a play in the Tampa game where he went down on a run with his arm outstretched, and when he hit the ground it looked like he was in pain.  Not sure if that was it or just exacerbated an injury he's been playing with, but I felt it was after this play that he lost the "zip" on his passes the rest of the day.

The TJ watt hit was more likely the culprit. Arm cocked starting to throw and then bam... free running Watt slams his helmet to the inside of Cams shoulder.    Nasty nasty hit.

It was already hurt prior to the Steelers game. Remember the end of the 1st half against the Ravens when Cam got pulled for Heinecke to throw the hail mary?

K, then lets go to the root of the cause... that f^cking bum KB not giving any effort on an INT in 2016 and Cam going HAM all the way down the field to make the tackle... layouys out at the 5 yd line and gets hurt.

THAT is where this all began.

there it is

I was cussing when that happened.

I know Cam is a gamer, but it's not really smart to put yourself in that situation....even being a pick 6.  QB's should really only tackle those guys when it's do or die to get into the playoffs, or it's a playoff game.

Not Cam's fault, this is something that Shula and Dorsey should have crammed in his head....issue was...their names are Dorsey and Shula.

Bryce Young, in his second season, has led the Carolina Panthers to a 4-0 run since October, accumulating 1,390 yards and 11 touchdowns amid a 4-4 record.   Undefeated QBs since start of October (min. 4 starts)   Drake Maye 5-0 Bo Nix 5-0 Bryce Young 4-0   Bryce Young when asked about his mindset during game winning drives: "You don’t rise to the occasion you fall back to the level of your training."
    • 1. Cowboys-No explanation needed. 2. Rest of NFC South equally. If I had to pick I would say Falcons.    3. Eagles- Both of the games I have attended there the fans were so horrible. The fan base is so ridiculously misbehaved, I’ve never seen such immaturity. 4- Lions- I have cousins in Michigan that grew up Lions fans and they are some of the most obnoxious people I have ever met, as are all of their Lions buddies. The NFL has been lucky that Detroit has been in the cellar for its eternity.    5. Tie between Bears and Vikings. Both act like Steelers, Cowboys, Niners fans do with nostalgia and legendary seasons but neither have ever really had them. They act like they each won 5 super bowls in previous decades but never accomplished poo outside of Chicago in 85.
    • You play the Saints that is great news for your O line.
