I just can't bring myself to think he couldn't possibly outlast Brady or Brees or Manning in the sense of pure health and conditioning, his athletic ability is light years above them if his arm can stand the test of time, I can see him playing at least 8 more years.

Cams absorbed way more punishment than any of those players , hes practically a QB and a RB at the same time. I really highly doubt he'll be still playing at 38 , 39, 40 .

Id give him about 5 more years, mid 30s sounds right to me.

Personal opinion: Something really bad happened before/during/after that Steelers game and the players have quit on Ron.

Cam is exaggerating his shoulder issue to ensure defeat to cost Ron his job.

My guess is Cam was extremely upset to see this difference in offensive performance by simply swapping an incompetent OC for one with a proven track record. Next we see Ron allowing this exact scenario to play out on defense with first Wilks, and then came to a breaking point with the Steelers game and NOT immediately relieving Washington of playcalling duties.

For much of Cam's career, he could at least depend on his Defense to keep games manageable.  He thought it was Ron's defense, it wasn't, it was McDermott's Defense.

not sure why people dont understand this. he's not gonna get hurt while he is running because he can brace for the hit and run behind his pads. it's gonna be while he's in a throwing motion and gets hit in an awkward place like against the Steelers or from someone in the pocket falling on his knee

He was tackled from behind on a run when he had ankle problems.................his shoulder issue began from a piling on top of him while laying on his side near the goal line after a run...........numerous concessions and/or bell ringing occurred on runs as well.

Granted the Sponge Bob Square Pants O line is porous enough for him to sustain hits like he did while in the pocket.......but there are a lot of defenders on opposing teams who lick their chops when any QB runs........especially Cam.
