So frustrating, the receiver was fronted, take a fuging sack if you need to and kick a God damned field goal. That is 100% on Cam.

no doubt. i don't know why we're calling jump balls for funchess though, good god talk about a guy who you have no room for error with.

Put Heinicke in the 2nd half.  Give CMC an actual chance.

Fug that.  Heinicke will get destroyed behind our OL facing Jordan and company.  Cam alters the pass rush and can survive and mask how bad they are even with a bum shoulder.

You blame a touch pass on a receiver completely fronted by the defender on his shoulder? I'm screaming as he releases the ball don't throw it. FML

It was the correct read. Funchess was one-on-one with a short corner, not known for his great ability (then again, neither is Funchess). Funchess is supposed to win those 50/50 balls. However, the ball has to be in the right position for Funchess to make a play. Cam didn't get it there. The ball looked like a wounded duck on the way.

So, right call, bad throw results in the INT. And it's the shoulder that's causing it. The Panthers were 6-2 and Cam was playing like an MVP. The last couple of weeks, one of the cheerleaders could have out-thrown Cam.

Disagree. If he catches that ball then he is out of bounds. That’s not how you run a fade route.

If he runs the route more inside then it gives Cam more of a throwing window and is likely a TD

He got beat and pushed around by the corner.

The throw was terrible.  It was all on Cam. He screwed us...again

I am not a Funchess fan, but it's hard while you are jumping to block a ball that was thrown to Apple's gut. It wasn't even close to a good pass. Cam's had multiple really bad throws tonight.

i just now got to the tv so i haven't really seen any of his throws

I agree...Saints know it so they are playing close in and not even worried about a deep ball...pathetic!!

    • I think it's more related to the difference between proven talent and projected talent. Our proven talent is quite literally almost nonexistent. Our projected talent could be significantly more. Obviously, it remains to be seen how many DJ Moore's we get and how many TMJ's(not making this position specific, just giving examples of clear progression of careers and talent being realized versus not). This could be an exceptionally terrible, underwhelming, okay, fairly decent, surprisingly good, etc roster. All that has to play out on the field because our known entities in terms of above average caliber NFL players is paltry but most standards. All that digital bloviating to basically say, "Show me." As for Tepper, I genuinely don't think he has meddled that much less and I don't think he has stepped back. I think he just cleaned house of most of the people chirping about it internally while not making himself so publicly visible because he is very aware of the meme he has made himself and this franchise. IMO, he will continue to fug this franchise over because that is who he is as a person.
    • Glad im not watching...  guessing walker out too
    • Also Walker is a game time decision. He might not be able to play tonight.
