It was the correct read. Funchess was one-on-one with a short corner, not known for his great ability (then again, neither is Funchess). Funchess is supposed to win those 50/50 balls. However, the ball has to be in the right position for Funchess to make a play. Cam didn't get it there. The ball looked like a wounded duck on the way.

So, right call, bad throw results in the INT. And it's the shoulder that's causing it. The Panthers were 6-2 and Cam was playing like an MVP. The last couple of weeks, one of the cheerleaders could have out-thrown Cam.

The offensive line is a bigger issue than Cam’s shoulder but hey let’s just ignore that. He has zero time. Same reason we can’t go deep. We can’t block for it. You guys are so wrapped up in that Bill Voth narrative it’s sad.
