So Taylor Heinicke had surgery on his elbow yesterday

Yet his HC, his OC, and their advisory personnel on the training and medical staff kept throwing him out on the field against the Falcons because he "wanted to play".

This seems to be a common trait among that "brain" (and I use that term loosely) trust.

Winning and that point didn't matter. It sucks that he hurt his elbow, but who knows when he'd get a chance to show what he could go in a game again. And it would give the team more time to see what they had in home (and Allen the next week).

It's unfortunate that he got hurt, and his performance wasn't that hot, but I can't be upset by that. Should Thomas Davis have sat out his only chance to play in the Super Bowl?

Was his nonthrowing arm and they had it braced. I almost have more of a problem with TD playing the SB fresh out of surgery with internal fixations in his forearm while making tackles. This was about Taylor wanting to showcase himself. Not ineptness of the coaching staff, which don’t get me wrong is still an issue itself.

what a medical staff.     hard to believe rr has a job.    he should not.  not ever again in football.  can you imagine that brain dead ass walking into your house to recruit your kid if he was a college coach.

This is rich.  If RR would have sat Tyler someone else would make a thread complaining that he played Cam when he was obviously hurt and yet sat Taylor right away after he got hurt.  They'd probably also go out of their way to point out that Cam and Taylor are different races.

That's just insane he couldn't finish one start behind the Panthers OL without getting injured, and requiring surgery.
