Problem is that buying a season ticket doesn't give you the right to a fair game with no mistakes simply a seat and entrance into the game which they got. This fairness thing that people have these days is so overblown. This suit has zero chance to go anywhere

I'm sure we as a fanbase wouldn't just take the L and move on. We would be bitching about it years later. Lawsuit is stupid, but the NFL really needs to figure out a way to not let a game be won/loss by a horrifically moronic call/no-call. Officiating has really become a laughing stock.

If memory serves, the court has to allow them to file the suit.  Sadly, this ties up court resources and is one of the reasons that legitimate civil suits take so long.  I hope they throw this out quickly.

My brother who is an attorney said you can be sued for any reason legitimate or not. The burden is on who ever brings the case to prove they have legitimate standing and grounds to bring the suit. Without an injunction, by the time this was settled it will be next year if it went to trial.
