Still don’t believe that defense wins championships??

Crazy stat in the article just posted, 46 of 53 super bowl winners have finished top ten in scoring defense. The Patriots played great TEAM defense last night which is why they have another ring. We must fix our issues across the line and at safety.  Hopefully Rivera can turn things around quick....if not we all know he’s gone.

I disagree,  last night they played great. Anytime you hold a team who is one of the best in the game at scoring to three points you are doing something right. Same thing happened to us in super bowl 50, no one could stop us and we blew it in the big game.

Atrocious because Sean McVae thought he was Vince Lombardi and went into a Super Bowl with a small playbook to run a few plays effectively.

probably not stupid if you pick some clutch plays to rotate to see what the Patriots weaknesses were and then exploit the ones that work.

was stupid to pick the plays the Patriots obviously gameplanned for—

Sean brought a knife to a gunfight,..

Goff is a glorified game manger. But, he is a very good game manager but he has a lot of talent around him and for him to be successful I think it will need to stay that way.

Not a lot of teams could score the way the Patriots defense was playing last night.

Then  you have Bellicheck vs McVay. One who's been there done that over and over and one who never has let alone one of the youngest coaches ever. Just really not a fair matchup.

The stadium was basically 90% patriots fans.

Saints vs. Patriots would have been better. And before that I really think Chargers vs. Patriots would have been better.

With everything considered, the Rams did not do that poorly and played quite well.

    • Unfortunately business is business especially when there are large sums of money on the table. Goes the same for player and ownership. Does not make it right either way.  Why would he not want to play for the niners? Closer to home with a team that has a chance of delivering a SB trophy.
    • I don’t know if it’s him bad mouthing his former situation in public or my pettiness but either way I’m not a fan. Dude was on playoff teams getting paid millions to entertain. I’m not better that because and I am better than that. You don’t bad mouth your former employer in public. Esp after getting over paid and two, poor little Russian baby didn’t get the playing spot he wanted. Rod had him exactly where is was supposed to be.  He had a mean lip check and did defend our players. Specifically the devils game around Christmas where is our Haula on his ass. Cool. Thank you. But don’t talk poo about us. Because it make you look like Haula.    “need to get as far away as possible”. fug off. Didn’t see Burnsy bad mouthing and his play dropped off too.    sorry, but Orlov doesn’t get a pass from me. See you twice a year…
    • I don't really care about your post at all. I just saw the direction of the discussion and this snippet from an article I read earlier in the day was a good spot to put non-Panthers info. I mostly don't care about the players personal lives. That's off the field/personal poo. Not really any of my business.  I also don't know him personally so what would be the point of congratulating him outside basically attempting to draw attention to myself like so many in the social media/internet realm.
