I agree.  When is he planning on drafting a QB?  If we grab one in the first or second rounds, that should tell us how confident we are in his shoulder.

Also whats really sad (thx hurney) is that we wasted a fuging THIRD on gaulden as a project and yet here we are needing a FS. And at the same time Jordan literally just named half the positions on the field and the resolution is draft. How about we fuging tank and worry about next year and let these contracts expire and for sure a 100% Cam. Hurney fuging sucks and you homers need to wake up.

We should sign Bryce Callahan for our slot cb. He’s young and a great cornerback arguably top 5 in the slot. Only knack is durability concerns. Missed a couple games the pst few seasons.

I still say Kalil could be cut post June 1, as well as Poe---Thompson should not make $9m--I realize that you cant use  post June 1 on free agents, but I think you can use it to sign draft picks.

Olsen is really putting the team in a bad  situation if  he is  waiting to decide.  I think he plays, because  he  is making good money.

Here is how I translate this:  Where we need immediate help, free agency or free agency AND draft.  I could see us adding  a DT and OL  in both.  Where we need depth, the draft.

DRAFT:  QB, RB, WR/TE, OL, DL, DB and LB. 

FREE AGENCY:  OL, DT, DE, S, NICKEL

I think we sign (Free agency):  DT, Nickel, S, and  OL 

SO NOW YOU KNOW WHAT WE WON'T DO.

From what I've read, if Kalil isn't cut by Friday, it doesn't make as much sense to let him go.

I think Olsen tries to play, but like the last few years I don't believe he'll make a full season.

He's my favorite target in FA right now. Risky but with high reward if he can stay healthy and with Washington coaching the DL. If we could get him and a top nickel FA our D could actually look pretty solid even before adding possible draft picks.

I am as ticked off as most because we seem so dormant so far, but it doesn't matter whether he personally has the money to get a player or two.  It is the cap and what Hurney does with it.  Tepper could by the moon and still not have enough to get a couple decent free agents. 

Tepper said we were going to be aggressive in Free Agency.  I don't think Hurney got the memo.

Seems like the same narrative this time of year for us lately.  

Pressed against the cap to make any major impactful signings. Re-sign several of our own guys....usually one or two overpays are done, and we will look to the draft to fill our areas of need.

That being said, we could still free up some money and there is still a good amount of talent that fills holes for us.

Za'Darius and Preston Smith are still out there, and still some decent FS talent too. Daryl Williams could still be brought back. I was hoping for Morse, but after seeing what Buffalo paid  him and what Paradis is going to get...no thanks. I'll look to the 2nd/3rd round to bring in a young franchise center. 

After seeing some of the ridiculous contracts (See: Funchess, Devin; Badger, Honey), I'm okay for now. Def need to get one impactful defender.

Hurney has always done his best work rummaging in the bargain bin. Those 'big' Wahle/Lucas/Hartwig/Kemoeatu picks were extremely underwhelming.
