Panthers claim tackle Dillon Gordon off waivers

CHARLOTTE – The Panthers have claimed offensive tackle Dillon Gordon off waivers from the Chiefs. The 6-foot-4, 322-pounder spent last season on injured reserve with a shoulder injury. Undrafted in 2016 out of LSU, where he primarily served as a blocking tight end, Gordon was signed by the Eagles and started out as a tight end before shifting to guard and then eventually making the 53-man roster as a tackle.

Looks like a real long shot but why not. This is why there is a 90 man roster in the offseason.

I like it, the eagles have an eye for this kind of move as jason Peter's also started as a tight end.  The feet and hand positions are the most important part and tight ends naturally have more athleticism than the online.  Let's see what he brings

That's right. Undrafted in 2016. Played TE for the Eagles. Practice squad kind of guy. In other words he's here to fuging DOMINATE. Ever wish you could watch Hercules play OT? Now is your chance. Or he might not even make the final roster. Never know.

Good luck to him! Training camp is a long way off, but the guy is getting a shot and we need some youth in the O-line depth chart, not to mention that he's been trained up by KC and Philly, both teams with good o-line histories.
