No idea what I'd do with myself if we got another 1st round DT that busted when we were in dire need of an upgrade on the edge. Stop tip toeing around the problem and address the problem directly.

Quickest path to the QB is up the middle.  All for it...plus, major potential cap relief next year if Poe/KK get cut.

Poe whether June 1st or just plan cut is the same cost but KK be saving us a lot if cut June 1st.

I feel like if we are going to rebuild our D-line: I feel Panthers might be drafting DE, DT, and a NT in this draft.

I love Burns/Sweat/Crosby of the group. John Cominsky could be great mid round pick up as a 5 tech.

DT -

Wilkins/Dre'Mont

Under the radar pick I like, Renell Wren. Chris Jones potential.

NT -

Saunders/Lawrence

Under the radar later round, Daylon Mack.

 

This draft is going to shed light on the future direction of our team.

I'd be fine with either Lawrence or Wilkins because it either makes us deep at NT/DT or allows us the flexibility to get out from under Poe or KK's contracts if they cannot perform at a high level in the future.

I think it really just boils down to how the draft plays out ahead of us.  All these guys are in consideration and can make an impact on the roster quickly. 

Hurney has put himself in a good spot for round 1.

So it could be a OT, Edge, DT, S, possibly a TE, QB, G, LB or CB? Have we completely ruled out Kicker and Punter yet?
