I just don’t see why we aren’t on the phone making that happen right now. Rosen is a significantly better prospect who is probably more ready to step in now than developing Grier. I hope we aren’t letting this slip by because Grier is from “Charlotte”.

Without a doubt, you better pull that off if you can. Josh Rosen is better than any quarterback in this Class. My opposition to will Grier is not that we shouldn't take a quarterback, it's that this quarterback class is absolutely terrible. On the flip side, last year's quarterback draft class was insanely good.

Do you all think it will be a good idea for team chemistry with all the media circus that a move like that would start? Also who thinks Rosen would be cool with going to a team where he has no ability to compete for a starting job? If Cam is healthy he is starting. I highly doubt Rosen would agree to ride the bench for the next three years of his rookie deal when he was just a top first round pic. It’s easier said than done with the situation that we have

I'm sure a 3 is the starting point. I imagine the goal is to start a bidding war during the draft. He will end up being trade for a low first/high second by a team like the Bronco's, Patriots, or Dolphins. To be honest, If I'm Belichick, I'll give up 32 and laugh all the way to the bank.

Lol the people on the huddle. Would spend a 3rd rd pick on someone that looked like straight up trash last year in Arizona. That is a big HELL NO for me.

This guy... I swear is hd just a troll or are these opinions the thoughts of a real person?

    • Yards a game works better over a longer period of time as well. Averages always work out over the long run. The smaller the sample size the easier it is to skew. Also opponents matter more when the size is small. Player 1 lights up 2 bad defenses in 4 starts vs Player 2 playing 10 games vs multiple defenses. It hard to make it apples to apples how it currently sits. Remember during Bryce’s little run last year how annoyed you were when people were pulling Bryce’s starts from week 9 on vs the whole season.
    • Someone else claimed I said EVERY.  Literally in my post breaking it down it gave Bryce TDs per game.   Shough however has the majority in his favor if just looking at starts. whats subjective about comp %, yards, QB ratings and turnovers?  Now I guess the argument one might make off them could be subjective.  But all I’m saying is statistically as a starter he has been better this year overall.  I don’t think Shough is great.  I think he is impressive based on the situation.  2nd rounder stepping in on a bad team.   And he like so many other QBs…..serves as little red flag going off about what we are doing here offensively.
    • Player A - 2 starts.  200 yards in each start. He averages 200 yards a game.  Player B - 1 start.  Throws for 400 yards.  Comes in another random game and has 1 pass attempt on a Hail Mary to end the game that goes incomplete.   Now given the random game he appeared for a snap, he averages 200 yards a game. Thats why you isolate starts. If you are talking starter vs someone who began as a backup.  Simple made up numbers/situations to illustrate the point.
