Bucs Vita Vea Left Practice With Knee Injury

Will have MRI tomorrow... would be huge blow to Bucs defensive line that is already going to miss Jason Pierre-Paul for a good part of the year.

Certainly don't wish injuries on anyone... that being said, we play the Bucs in Week 2 & Week 6

Jesus, hate to see a guy go down like that and immediately grab the knee.

Yep... He did walk off under his own power, but the non-contact nature of it and the fact they are having to wait a day on the MRI indicates their is probably swelling.

Feel for the guy... he has spent a lot of his NFL career so far fighting injury.

Vea dodged a bullet.  Still gotta get his 340 pound ass in shape though.

Following his MRI, good news for #Bucs 2018 first-round DT Vita Vea. Sources say he can return within the first 4 weeks of the season but no surgery is required for his knee injury. Or what @MikeGarafolo tweeted a few days ago. Should miss minimal game time. (Fixed earlier tweet)

We play them in week 2 and he will be out. And he won’t be in game shape by week 6.

Look for a big day on the ground.

With that said hope he comes back and balls out the rest of the season.
