We live in one of the most temperate climates in the nation.  I mean the first three games are so are a bit hot but the vast majority of the season it's a really pleasant place, and football Sundays are just so beautiful with the sun shining.  PLUS, we've always gotten an advantage over pass happy teams when they play in Charlotte.  We're a team that wants to run and play defense.  A dome gives all the advantage to our competition.  Just my opinion.

Not having to worry about the weather when I go to the games outweighs the reservations I have about domes. BOA on a nice day vs. a rainy or cold one is such a better experience that I avoid the later half of the season and I'm sure I'm not alone. A roof will increase sales year round, not just when the Super Bowl is in town.

I just really really hate the idea of two stadiums in close proximity when BOA's spot is already ideal. A bridge connecting them? Why on earth would anyone ever go between the two? Or this talk of a border stadium? You're telling me SC fans are gonna suddenly flock to a boring location just because it's 40 minutes closer?

Tepper has been talking about getting high speed rail between here and Raleigh since he got here. Moving/upgrading the train tracks may actually be in the plans.

If Tepper combined efforts with Raleigh we'd have a Carolina MLS team in no time. They're trying to build a soccer stadium for their Div II team downtown that would have the capacity. If it weren't for the Charlotte/Tepper bid looking more likely it would be a no-brainer for all parties.

charlotte is actually close to being a swamp and playing in Charlotte in november and december is a huge advantage, especially considering what the rest of the nfl is moving too.

Oh you play indoors and rely on precise timing routes? Well guess what we haven't seen the sun for a month, it's raining from every direction and fuging everything is wet. Also that cold wind will make your testicles retract.

I'd be sad to lose that.

You don't have to move the rail, you only have to lower the rail.

Then reimagine the footprint.

I lived in Miami during the whole overhaul of their stadium

It was built almost Identical to BOA to a T.  They completely overhauled it, looks like a new stadium.  And the project was only about 1/10th of the price of a a stadium.

Niw they dont have a "retractable roof" just one that cover the seats.  With today technology and engineering they can easily fox it up tk where they can have a retractable one on BOA

Wholeheartedly agree. May be a bit uncomfortable for a couple of September games, but nothing beats the mid-70's, crystal clear fall days we get in October-November-December in Charlotte.

IMO, on a clear fall day, the view from BoA is the best in the league.

      I mean, you can only go so far with the propping up. When a guy's numbers are as bad overall as Bryce's you have to try to find specific niches to sell. It's just funny that they're honing in on where he's probably weakest to try to prop him up. Whether it's a pro-Bryce conspiracy or not, it echos my chief complaint about PFF's analysis for years. When your purely statistical analysis badly skews from the eye test of actually watching the games, it should be screaming at you that you need to modify your system not double down on it. PFF is awesome at compiling stats but their grade systems are highly flawed and they never seem to try to improve them.

      Then why is Byce also last in other PFF stats?  The deep ball thrower stat by PFF can simply be flawed vs some conspiracy trying to prop up a QB on a team that a former employee now works for.  Both of these guys were also hired AFTER the Panthers had already drafted Bryce.  Trying to prop him up with a made up stat while he struggled would be a detriment to their own team honestly.
