I miss McDermott. This was from August, when they came to town. God almighty, they looked strong then. They look even better now defensively.

I don't know. It's just that specific injury is a killer. Guys just don't come back anywhere near the same after an Achilles. Even great players struggle to be just roster caliber afterwards.

I do feel bad for Neal. He’s a great guy and one hell of a talent, and this is two years in a row now. And it impacts their defense immensely, which clearly helps the rest of the south. 

He and Deon Jones are their two best coverage players in the middle of the field. They just lost their enforcer.

LeSean McCoy still has plenty of juice. He's quietly creeping up on 11K career rushing yards and 23rd all time in career rushing yards.

I was poo’d on this preseason after our loss to them when I said the bills were a strong team and would have a great season. 

 

They were clearly a better team than the panthers and still are.
