The last win they had with Cam Newton at QB,  Carolina led 35-7 at halftime. But a comedy of errors in the second half on defense, and some awful clock management, almost put Tampa back in the game. 

This felt like a well earned win. A 38-13 run after Kyle’s early fumble. Clean clock management. Great pressure and no big plays over the top. A couple of drops, granted, helped that. 

It’s a great win. And Kyle did about what I thought he would do. Nothing more, nothing less.

Didn’t need to blow timeouts on offense because Cam can’t get the play called before the play clock runs out. He does it at least once a game. Pretty f*cking dumb for a veteran QB to still be doing that.

Not sure, but another question - when is the last time the panthers didn't kneel on the ball with 31 seconds left in 1st half?  When is the last time we actually threw 2 passes with 31 seconds left - like actually tried to extend the lead....  I was blown away that KA was throwing the ball with 31 left on the clock.

The game was well played and well called by the coaches. Everyone handled their job in all three phases of the game. Plus, Kyle came in and did his best Jake Delhomme 2003 impersonation -- off the bench and into the highlights reel.

You can win a lot of games doing that. 

Let's see it happen again before we get too excited.
