Bruce Irvin: What's the deal?

Bruce Irvin missed his third straight game on Sunday. With young guys like Brian Burns, Christian Miller, and Marquis Haynes getting a lot of playing time, is there room for Irvin? 

Does anyone know if he's even close to playing?

Yeah it has been weird... a fairly significant FA pick-up and he is the forgotten man.  I tweeted to Jourdan last week if she had anymore insight but she didn't respond.

Honestly even when he gets back in the lineup I think he is lost in a sea of talent.  He will certainly help as fresh legs, but I wouldn't expect him to light up the stat sheet.  

There's most certainly room though.  You can never have enough talented pass rushers in the NFL today.

You can never have enough legitimate pass rushers b/c of injuries, but it is nice to see some depth there.

I know it was the Cardinals, but it was impressive to see that level of disruption (especially in 2nd Half), with two presumptive preseason starters out (Short & Irvin)

It has been a long time since we have had 3 promising (young) pass rushers like we do in Burns, Haynes, and Miller

I don't know but I sure hope he comes back soon. We should have terrorizing pass rush all year.

They will need every pass rusher they can get against Deshaun Watson I'll tell you that. Reminds me a lot of young Cam escaping pressure.

I don't think he's got enough left to chase Watson, honestly.

It sucks, but hamstring injuries are no joke.

I'd rather have him healthy for the second half of the season rather than forcing him out there.

Let him get healthy.  But I can’t help but thinking that he could have made a difference in the first couple games.

Turn him loose after the leaves have fallen. We can hold until then quite nicely.

There’s always room for more pass rushers, especially healthy ones. The way he plays, a tight hammy will not do him or the team any good.

Hamstrings linger. If you try to come back too soon you'll just end up right back out.
