Can We Actually Trust Ron Rivera to Keep D.Williams AWAY from LT and start Greg Little for the Rest of the Season? Or Will He Cotinue to Flip-Flop Between Them and Get our QBs Killed from the Blind Side?

I’m fine with bringing along little slowly, but the lack of help when Williams is in is infuriating.

we need to get little up to speed ASAP, and move William to guard or backup Rt

I'd be fine with bringing Little along slowly IF the plan in the meantime was to play Moton at LT, but it's blatantly and painfully obvious that DW cannot handle LT. So, if we aren't playing Moton at LT, IMO we lose our ability to bring Little along slowly. We'll go through half a dozen QBs this season if we keep DW at LT.

William's shouldn't see LT again this season even if Little, Moton and  any other OL we can put at LT is injured or missing. Its Littles' time regardless. I fully expect to see William's back there before Moton ever gets a nod at LT tho. We should get him reps at LG, RT and RG because the NFL is brutal and we will need someone to step up at some point.

Williams sadly could be toast as a player or he could just have been badly out of position at LT, I can't tell until I see him play a more natural pisition. He should never see another snap at LT ever.

No offense, but I always get a little chuckle out of it when the thread title is a longer paragraph than the first post.

As to the question, we'll start to get some insight on that when we see the team start practicing this week.

It is much preferred to titles like "Major kudos to" or "I noticed..." which are nothing more than annoying click bait. Those should be cracked down upon, imo.

    • Okay then. To me that means Russell Wilson was Coryell. Because I see the proposition completely in the Russell Wilson punt/pass put it up for grabs mold. Count on the receiver to catch it or knock it down.    And the reason I thought that was the intent with Legette is the abysmal downfield game from 2023. As in, there was barely any.   I look at it as if… the result of a deep attempt isn’t as important as the opponent understanding they have to defend it. So I was all for some 50/50s. Coryell, Walsh whoever.  I do favor the Coryell approach personally but also very much value versatility, it doesn’t have to be strict. Just make the defense defend the whole field, however you do it. It has to include downfield throws.
    • Sold, or in the process of being sold. Could be either way. Consider this for a second... Last season, our defensive coordinator steered what many have called the worst defense in NFL history.  Canales would absolutely have been justified in firing him, and no one would have blamed him if he had.  But what did he do? He gave Evero another chance to come back and prove he could be better. Does that tell us something about Canales? I think it does. Now apply that to Bryce 😕
    • Canales has never been part of big YAC offenses in the NFL.  That’s not his tree.  Not in Seattle, Tampa or here.  Every O he has been associated with basically has been bottom half of the league in YAC.  That’s what Bryce needs to happen though  2 very different things….and very much gets into why the middle school QB doesn’t fit
