I would think they would have to allow it. You cant protect one of your clients and not protect the rest from him. Otherwise it could be seen as a huge conflict of interest I would think.

That was a different era, the long term consequences of that type of play was not as well publicized. Now that the real consequences are finally more known, the league has adjusted accordingly(forced by lawsuits and not of their own accord, unfortunately). 

That's why you don't see "Jacked Up" or those other spots highlighting huge hits anymore.

I actually heard off the field Vontaze is a great guy. Obviously on the field he’s a psychopath. Unfortunately he hasn’t learned. Next step is banned for life. Glad the NFL came down hard on this.
